All new employees must successfully complete a company-paid 30-day training program within their areas of responsibility and are cross-trained with other departments to assure their understanding of the entire moving process.
Our service providers nationwide, from contract van operators to agent employees, are required to participate in training programs designed to create consistent and professional service in packing and loading techniques for both domestic and international shipments. Arpin Van Lines monitors the performance of our service providers carefully to ensure that our customers are receiving the very best relocation services.
Arpin Van Lines also offers an industry-recognized certification program to become a Certified Professional Mover (CPM) that provides interactive training in packing and loading standards, safety techniques, customer service and documentation procedures. Our company also provides an in-house software training program to learn Microsoft Office® and various other software programs as they relate to the position being held and provides tuition reimbursement to all of our employees.
Arpin Van Lines facilitates agency training programs regionally throughout the country during the first and second quarters of each year. Additionally, our Regional Vice Presidents of Agency Development travel the country year round to train new agency staff and provide any training and development assistance necessary.
Additionally, Arpin Van Lines’ sales representatives are sent
to the ERC, AMSA, SHRM and the Paul Taylor conferences to attend
and participate in educational sessions in global relocation workshops.
