The Art of Winning
It is a common phrase, but is there really an “art” to winning? Or is there solely strategy? Or preparation? Or luck? I spoke on a panel last week on the art of winning. Three of us in the relocation industry on the panel, who gave our perspective what we do to win a client. How do we get our foot in the door? How do we progress the relationship and sales process? And how do we close and win the business? It was very interesting to hear the different perspectives. One panelist was all about goal setting. Another was about the important business and data aspects of it, and I was about the involvement and trust needed. We all agreed that being a resource to a prospect or client is very important.
