Happy National Truck Driver Appreciation Week!
National Truck Driver Appreciation Week is when our country sets time aside to honor the men and women who drive trucks across our highways. America’s truck drivers are professionals dedicated to serving the public and keeping our roads and highways safe.
There are more than 3.5 million professional truck drivers nationwide – delivering everything from food to local grocery stores, to books to neighborhood schools. These professional men and women log close to 724 billion miles annually, and last year, delivered nearly 70% of the U.S. freight tonnage – or 10.55 billion tons. 80 percent of U.S. communities depend solely on the trucking industry for their goods and commodities. Professional truck drivers keep this country moving forward.
Arpin Van Lines is extremely fortunate to have the most professional and skilled driver. This includes owner-operators, company drivers, and agent driver, who represent us to our customers and the public as a whole. They personally sacrifice to take care of our relocation families and businesses. Sometimes, this means missing family birthdays, anniversaries, and other special events that most of us take for granted. They are the face of Arpin and their efforts keep all of us in business and provide us our livelihood.
So, during the National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, September 10th through September 16th, please take the time to thank our many professional drivers. We truly appreciate all of their efforts, sacrifices, dedication, and hard work representing Arpin and our Agency Family!
