National Wreaths Across America Day

This Saturday, December 16, 2017, is National Wreaths Across America Day. During December, wreaths are transported to veterans’ cemeteries where they’ll be placed on every single grave. Not only does this take place at Arlington National Cemetery, but at over 1,200 additional locations as well. Volunteers come from all over the country to make this special event possible.

It’s encouraged by volunteers to say the veteran’s name aloud and take a moment to thank him or her for their service to our country. According to Karen Worcester, Executive Director of Wreaths Across America, “we are not here to ‘decorate graves.’ We’re here to remember not their deaths, but their lives.”

This year, Arpin is proud to announce that our agents and drivers will be covering 26 full trailer loads of wreaths, which exceeds last year’s total of 19! Thank you to the following participants for making this possible:
