The Vegetables Are Coming In!

Back in June, we shared with you that Arpin had started up its employee-run garden for the second season, and we’re happy to say that the results so far are better than ever! The first crop of vegetables was delivered this week to the West Warwick Senior Center.

We started working with the senior center last year and they were very excited to hear that we plan on donating everything that we grow once again.

The West Warwick Senior Center was established in 1977 as a community resource for recreation, education, meals, transportation, and wellness for seniors and those requiring aid. To learn more about the center, you can check out their Facebook page here.

We want to extend a big “Thank You” to the Arpin Sustainability Committee and Arpin’s employees for maintaining the garden and to Jacavone Garden Center for donating the excellent tomato, pepper, zucchini, and cucumber plants!
