Vehicles Of The Not-So-Distant Future

Autonomous vehicles may become a common sight on the roadways sooner than you think? With advanced technology and companies being able to keep to their promised deadlines, it appears that may very well be the case.

Forbes.com recently reported that “June has been considered the most important month in the history of the autonomous vehicle.” This is due to developers being able to compete on a level playing ground. Going back to the deadlines being kept, Tesla’s Model 3 will be made available soon to those consumers that put down $1,000 when it was first announced.

Car rental and ride-sharing companies are also getting in on the autonomous market. In fact, GM is partnering with Lyft to launch fully autonomous Chevrolet Bolts in San Francisco and Detroit for customer use.
