“This was my first major move and I was not as prepared as I should have been, but your guys were so helpful and understanding. They were so efficient and amazing. They worked quickly, and truthfully, it was a pleasure having them. From the moment they walked in, I felt comfortable and knew I was in good hands. You run an unbelievable business.”
“I would like to thank you for your help and assistance with this relocation. I am happy to say that this has been by far, the smoothest relocation I have ever had. I am not kidding. From day one, everything has been taken care of extremely well. The delivery went well. Apparently, nothing has suffered or has been damaged. Thank you again for your great work. It has been a real pleasure to be assisted by you and Arpin!”
It’s almost the end of Movember...the time of year when the moustache takes over the world for one month. Ricardo Ramos, Arpin Group’s Director of Global Marketing, is happily participating in this event for the second year in a row to raise awareness for men’s health. Movember is the global men's health charity that encourage men to grow and women to support the moustache for 30 days to raise awareness and funds for men's health, specifically prostate and testicular cancer initiaties.
In the spirit of the holidays, we have advice from Movingtoday.com when it comes to cooking a successful Thanksgiving dinner in a small kitchen. If you fall under this category, you have to get creative with your cooking plan. Small kitchen layouts mean very little food prep area and not much space to actually cook.
Due to the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy, Arpin and Cardi’s Furniture teamed up once again to hold a relief drive to collect items for those affected in New York and New Jersey. The turnout was quite incredible.
The moving and storage industry continues its slow, steady recovery from the depths of the housing crisis as shipment numbers continue to rise, according to the latest American Moving and Storage Association’s Industry Trends Report. Overall shipment numbers for the first half of the year were up 1.5% over last year, which isn't as much as the increases seen in the past two years, but still positive.
Arpin Group recognized dozens of agents for their excellence, service quality, charitable giving and sales performance at this year’s Annual Agent Convention held at the La Quinta Resort & Club in La Quinta, Calif. October.
The convention’s most coveted award went to Mordue Moving & Storage of Peoria, Ill., which was named the 2012 Prime Agent of the Year. Mordue also received the Million Dollar Hauler Award, Two Million Dollar Booker Award, Greatest Private Residential Sales Volume Award (“C” Market), Fleet Safety Achievement Award, Gold Quality Agent Award, and was selected as an Arpin ACES (Agents Committed to Excellent Service).
In the wake of the aftermath, we’d like to take a moment to acknowledge those affected by Superstorm Sandy. There are millions of people on the East Coast that have lost power for days and some have even lost their homes.
