Arpin’s 2012 Agent Convention Rocked the Desert. Literally!
We recently caught up with Conrad Swanson, Senior VP of Agency Development, and asked him what his thoughts were about the convention!
Q: Conrad, welcome back from California! How was the convention?
A: The convention was a very positive experience. It’s always great to catch up with our long time loyal agents and introduce the newcomers to the agency family. This year, we were lucky to have Linda Bauer Darr, President and CEO of the American Moving & Storage Association, speak about the state of the industry and the initiatives the organization is taking in conjunction with Arpin. With all this taking place with the backdrop of the California desert and mountains, made for a memorable week.
Q: What do you think the agents took away from the meetings?
A: Our agents hopefully took away our commitment to superb quality service, as well as our commitment to improving our technology to make us even more efficient and profitable. We have recently introduced several programs to help our agents grow their business. All of these programs were on display during the convention.
Q: With everything going on, what was your favorite part?
A: My favorite part is always catching up with old friends and business partners. I also enjoy seeing the “next generation” of agents becoming a more prominent part of the convention. It’s fantastic to see many of our agents pass the business down to their sons and daughters. It’s truly what our agency family is all about.
Thank you to Conrad for giving us an insight about the convention! After speaking with a few of our agents, the general consensus was that it was a success and they can’t wait until next year.
