Best States For Business
Narrowly missing first place last year, North Carolina was able to head the rankings with an improved employment outlook and the second-lowest business costs (South Dakota placed first in that area).
The list takes six categories into consideration: business costs, labor supply, regulatory environment, economic climate, growth prospects, and quality of life.
Here is the list of the other nine states that round out the top 10:
- North Carolina
- Texas
- Utah
- Nebraska
- Virginia
- Georgia
- Florida
- Colorado

- Indiana
