Happy Memorial Day!
As for this weekend, it’s a holiday that many Americans look forward to, Memorial Day. You probably know a few people that have travel plans and booking it to another state, but let’s not forget the true importance of the day.
Memorial Day is a time to remember all those in our military that have died serving our country. At first, the holiday was known as Decoration Day and originated in 1866 in Waterloo, NY to remember those that died during the Civil War. It wasn’t until 1971 that Memorial Day became an official national holiday.
