Our Thoughts To Those Affected By Superstorm Sandy
With the strong wind and powerful waves, even popular landmarks have been heavily damaged, such as the New Jersey coastline and Rhode Island’s Coast Guard House in Narragansett, RI. We commend everyone that has helped those in need, even if it meant risking their own lives to make a difference.
With Arpin Group Headquartered in the state of Rhode Island, and with offices in Massachusetts and New York, we have experienced power outages and property damage, but thanks to our amazing personnel, we were fully operational within hours after the superstorm had passed. A special thanks to the IT department for keeping our systems in check and being on alert the entire time. Also, along with our corporate offices, we have agents in the path of the storm who are doing their best to get back up and operational so please bare with us in case you’re expecting some delays on your move.
As of today, the only office that remains closed is our New York’s international division office, located in the heart of Manhattan where public transportation is down. However, our personnel are working from their homes and making sure all immediate matters are taken care of.
Now we have to make a thorough assessment of damaged warehouses and possible containers that were at port during the storm but so far so good. The most important thing is to keep everyone safe and out of harm’s way.
