The Top Destinations For Millennials
Now that we’ve cleared that up, the bigger question is: “Where are they moving to?” As a van line, we move of all ages throughout the world, but are Millennials going to certain areas?
According to Forbes, they are. Recent data was complied together for two separate categories. The first was population growth from 2010 to 2015 for 33 metropolitan areas with a population above two million people in 2015. The second category was for the number of educated Millennials (those with a bachelor’s degree or more) between ages 25-34 living within or around the same 33 areas with the same year metrics.
The results showed that core cities were growing slightly stronger than nearby suburban areas and they’re also attracting more educated Millennials. Chicago also topped the charts for the desired location, with Austin and St. Louis rounding out the top 3 respectively.
